Ocean Movement Retreat
Every practice we’ll explore during this retreat is an invitation to be fully present – free from pressure, expectations, or the need to achieve. Through movement, we seek expression, creativity, and the ability to flow with whatever the moment brings.
The Ocean Movement Retreat is an immersive journey into mindful, versatile movement, drawing inspiration from Fighting Monkey, dance, martial arts, and the Feldenkrais method. Each practice is an invitation to become fully present in the moment, letting go of expectations and the pressure to perform. By exploring movement in a conscious way, you will learn to understand your body more deeply—its structure, rhythm, and ability to adapt. The sessions encourage personal expression, creativity, and playful exploration, while cultivating resilience and responsiveness to whatever the moment brings. Set against the backdrop of the ocean, this retreat becomes not only physical practice but also a path to self-discovery and connection with the surrounding nature.
Movement Practice
Movement is a versatile, research-based practice drawing inspiration from Fighting Monkey, dance, martial arts, and the Feldenkrais Method. Through mindful exploration, it helps you understand your body’s structure, rhythm, and presence in space.
Each day offers dedicated time for playful exploration to build strength, coordination, flexibility, and freedom of movement. Here, movement becomes a pathway to deeper self-awareness – a practice that cultivates presence, resilience, and lightness in both body and mind.
Everyday Movement Practice Structure:
MORNING FORMS (40-60min)
Rhythmic movements to open your joints, awaken body connections, and sharpen awareness of your physical and mental state.
AFTERNOON MOVEMENT GAMES & IMPROVISATION (90min)
- Play is the brain’s favourite way to learn. These non-linear games help break old patterns, build adaptability, and spark creativity when facing challenges.
- Simple prompts guide you closer to intuition, teaching you to trust your body. Freestyle practice inspires living in tune with your integrity and imagination.
Movement in the Saddle
Horseback riding along the Moroccan coastline is a meeting with rhythm – at times steady and calm, at others powerful and fast, carrying a sense of joy and vitality. These moments in the saddle, with waves at your side and wind in your hair, bring freedom, harmony, and connection. It’s a deep encounter with nature, with the animal beneath you, and with yourself.
Movement of Nature
The raw beauty of Sidi Kaouki – the ocean, sandy dunes, and wild cliffs – will be our playground for exploration. We’ll practice in open-air spaces and out in nature, moving with the rhythm of wind and waves. The untamed landscape reminds us that growth is rooted in adaptability and flow.
The Stillness
After a day full of movement and discovery, you’ll be welcomed into a space of restoration – shared meals, ocean walks, meaningful conversations, and moments of quiet. Here, you’ll find that movement also means knowing when to pause. Deep rest will help you recharge, regain balance, and feel renewed.

Aleksandra Jachymek
Aleksandra is an artist from Poland whose life journey led her to the wild Atlantic coast of Morocco. Moving here was a conscious choice — an act of care for her physical health and mental wellbeing — and the culmination of a powerful personal transformation.
After graduating from Film School, Aleksandra went through years of depression, which she chose to heal without medication, instead using her own creativity as medicine: through performance, participatory art, and deep work with energy. At the same time, she faced Hashimoto’s disease, which she successfully healed, and realised that the urban environment was oppressive to her body. She was also in a challenging, codependent relationship for years, before making the life-changing decision to move closer to nature — a decision that would redefine her life entirely.
Today, Aleksandra lives in a house by the ocean in Sidi Kaouki, where she has built a life deeply rooted in nature, mindful living, and creative freedom. Drawing from her own journey of healing and self-discovery, she brings an exceptional ability to guide others through transformative experiences.
This trek is her own creation — designed entirely from her life experience in Morocco. The route is truly unique: no other horseback adventure in the country follows this exact path. Every view, every stop, every hidden corner has been chosen with intention, making it both an adventure and a deep inner journey.
Since May 2025, Aleksandra has been leading these rides, blending her love for horses with her artistic sensibility. On the trail, she offers mindfulness practices, somatic exercises, and breathwork, guiding riders not just across Morocco’s landscapes but also into moments of presence, grounding, and connection.
As the soul of this project, she ensures that every guest feels welcomed, seen, and part of something truly special. She speaks Polish, French and English and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life makes the trek not just unforgettable, but life-changing.
